LUSK, Harry L. – Of Burton, age 80, died Sunday, June 2, 2013 at Gentiva Hospice.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 6, 2013 at
Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Bruce Garner officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery with a military graveside service under the auspices of VFW Post #822 Honor Guard.
Visitation 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Harry was born in Herndon, West Virginia on September 19, 1932, the son of Georgia and John Lusk.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was active in the Korean War.
On June 4, 1994 he married Judy Adams.
He attended Faith Tabernacle.
Mr. Lusk was employed by General Motors-Ternstedt Plant from 1954-1990.
Surviving are his wife, Judy;
children, Kevan, Joanne Adams and husband Todd Kraemer;
grandchildren, Gatlin, Zachary, Hadley, Landrea, Ben and Josie;
brother, Morris of West Virginia;
sisters, Melda (Gerald) Bridges of Louisiana, Geva Byrd of California and Ilma Murray of Davison;
many special nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Avan, Amos,
Burless, Harold and Mason; sisters, Nola, Hester, Leburn and Garnet.
