BROWN, Diane Carol - Of Flint, age 61, died Monday, July 10, 2017 at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc. Cremation has taken place. A gathering in memory of Diane will be held at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 from 1PM until 5PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Family Service Agency, or The Disability Network.
Diane was born May 30, 1956 in Deckerville, Michigan to Harley and Doris (Rosbury) Wismer. She graduated from Clio High School in 1974. Diane attended Mott Community College and U of M - Flint. She married Gregory Brown on August 25, 1990 in Clio. Diane worked for the Family Service Agency of Mid-Michigan for over 40 years. She was on the board of: FSA, NGA, MGA, Elder Abuse Task Force, Court Street Village, and The Disability Network. Diane enjoyed gardening, traveling and especially spending time with her family.
Surviving are: Husband, Gregory Brown; Mother, Doris Wismer; Sisters: Debra (Roy) Crites, Donna (Ken) Neeley; Brothers: David (Kim) Wismer, Daniel (Travis) Wismer; Stepchildren: Shelli (Steve) Hester Hyde, Kim Smith, Justin (Akiko) Brown; 3 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and beloved friends.
