MILLER, Barbara E. - Of Burton, age 90, died Monday, February 5, 2018 at Cottage of Davison.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Friday, February 9, 2018 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Patty Jarvis officiating.
Private burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Visitation 3-8pm Thursday and 11am Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Barbara was born in Flint on January 31, 1928, the daughter of the late Thane and Beatrice (Taylor) Haddix. Barbara enjoyed swimming, fishing and childcare. She attended Phoenix United Methodist Church.
Surviving are daughter, Janet K. Battiste;
sons, Dennis (Alice) Miller and Bruce (Suzanne) Miller;
10 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren;
sisters, Joyce (Ernie) Fournier and Lucy Lock;
and brother, Donald (Shirley) Haddix.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Miller, son, Carl Miller, granddaughter, Erica Schoenauer, parents, and sister, Joan Schlieger.
