Donald Gene Eldridge, age 78 of Corunna, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2016 at his home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2016, at 11am at Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel. Pastor John Walworth will officiate with burial to follow in Pine Tree Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, November 11, 2016 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm.
Donald was born on September 19, 1938 in Owosso, Michigan to the late Lee Elliott and Lillian Josephine (DeVorak) Eldridge. He graduated from Corunna High School in the class of 1956 and worked at Woodard Furniture in Owosso until his retirement. Don enjoyed the outdoors, he enjoyed fishing and deer hunting in his younger years, he was an avid bowler and always liked a trip to the casino.
Don is survived by his brother, Richard (Maxine) Eldridge, his nephews, Richard (Tamara) Eldridge, Daniel Eldridge, Brian (Tara) Eldridge and Kevin (Tiffany Kozlin) Eldridge. His aunt, Mary Prikasky, his niece, Janet Sterba, five great nieces, and one great-great niece. |
