SHURTE, Judith J. – age 72 of Flint, MI passed away peacefully on Friday, October 14, 2016. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 from 5PM-9PM. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at 11AM at Brown Funeral Home – 1480 E. Hill Rd. Grand Blanc, MI with one hour of visitation prior to the service. Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating. Judy was born on January 18, 1944 to William and Thelma (Gordon) Kerr. Judy was a Flint Northern High School graduate. She had resided in Flint her entire life. She is survived by her beloved husband of 51 years, Jim Shurte. She was also the dear mother of Michael (Michelle) Shurte and Chris Shurte and loving grandmother of Madison, Ethan, and Estella. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Bill Kerr and Richard Kerr.
