JERMANY, Mrs. Jessie Mae (Easter) fell asleep in death on December 18th, 2012. Jessie led an existence that was filled with smiles and radiant expressive eyes. Jessie was born March 16, 1945 in Atlanta, Arkansas daughter of Chester B. and Nettie Easter. While a young girl Jessie and her family moved to Dallas, Texas. Jessie continued her education in Dallas while supporting her family’s necessities. In Dallas she met Mr. Wade Jermany Jr. and they made a decision to continue their life’s journey through matrimony on April 15, 1961. In 1965 Jessie and Wade decided to relocate to Flint, MI for enhanced career opportunities. Jessie worked for GM and balanced the daily needs of the household. She dedicated her life to Jehovah God. March 11, 1973. Jessie guided the family on principles of faith and moral character. Jessie raised five children while maintaining a heart felt smile. Jessie passionately kept her family engaged in productive activities while teaching and directing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Carrie Henderson, and brothers, Lonel Easter and Chessie Easter.
She is survived by Husband, Wade Jermany Jr. and children Debra Kay Griffin of Flint, MI, Sandy Dolores Kendall and Husband Carlos of Canton, MI, Antronette Lyshon Jermany of Indianapolis, IN, Vincent Wayne Jermany of Miami, FL, and Crystal Marchette Jermany of Lexington, KY; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild; five sisters Lavern Hanson of Los Angeles, CA, Armer Shingleton of Las Vegas, NV, Christine Alexander of Los Angeles, CA, Allie Pruitt of Dallas, TX; three brothers Avan Easter of Dallas, TX, Oneil Easter of Dallas TX, and James Thell Easter of Marshall, TX; and a collection cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
Your many expressions of love and concern extended to us in our bereavement are deeply appreciated. We were greatly comforted by your visits, telephone calls, flowers, cards, and prayers. A special Thank You to Serlena Jones, Ashley Simpson, and the staff of At Home Hospice for their care giving, love and support shown to our Mother. The Jermany Family.
