Rita Frances Kapala, nee. Robichaud, age 79 of Lapeer, passed away December 18, 2011. She was born in Royal Oak to Edward and Margaret Robichaud. She grew up in Royal Oak and attended St. Mary’s High School. Rita married Norbert Kapala on October 13, 1956. Together they operated JNR Heating and Air Conditioning, Eggs by JNR and Kapala Heating and Air Conditioning. Rita was preceded in death by her husband Norbert; parents Edward and Margaret and sister Lorraine Till. She is survived by 4 daughters, Jenifer (Steve) Reamer, Janet (Tom) Engelman, Jill (Patrick) Bills, Jackie (Fiancé, Joe Esposto) Flynn; 8 grandchildren, Tara Reamer, Nick Reamer, Joey Reamer, Jessica (Roger) Pettit, Ani Engelman, Johnny (Lesia) Engelman, Katie Flynn, Kara Flynn; 1 great grandchild Tyler Reamer. Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Clement Suhy officiating. A burial at Mt. Loretto Cemetery will follow. Friends may visit Tuesday 2-9 PM with a 7:00 PM Rosary Service at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home Capstick Chapel, 542 Liberty Park, Lapeer, MI 48446. Memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association are greatly appreciated. |
