BENTLEY, Verena M. - Of Flint Township, age 92, died Sunday, June 17, 2018 at Cranberry Park Memory Care.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Chaplain Cory Hamilton officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
Visitation 11am Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Verena was born in Belmont, Michigan on January 3, 1926, the daughter of the late Clyde and Emily (McGrath) Hall. She married Robert Bentley in 1944 and he preceded her in death in 1986. Verena married Donald Bentley in 1987 and he preceded her in death in 2007. Verena was employed as an interior decorator.
Surviving are children, Nancy Miller, Tom (Beverly), and Karen (Terry) Prime;
step-children, Darrell (Lorene), Denny (Gretta), Sharon Phelps and Marcia (Dave) Root.
many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren;
many nieces and nephews;
She was preceded in death by her son, Harold, sister, June McMillan, brother, Clyde Hall Jr. and step-brother, Walter LaPorte.
