JORDAN, Betty Jean – of Burton, MI, age 84, passed away Friday, March 6, 2020. A Funeral Service will be held at 1 PM on Monday, March 9, 2020 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Jeffrey Roth officiating. Burial will follow in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 AM-1 PM prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sparrow Hospice House.
Betty was born in Clare County, MI on June 6, 1935, daughter of the late Ivan and Thelma (Gruno) Rawles. She married Kenneth Lewis Jordan on July 2, 1955 in Flint, MI and he preceded her in death in 1963. Betty retired from Kettering at age 75. She enjoyed gardening and was a huge Michigan State fan. Betty’s greatest love in life was her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Betty is survived by her daughters, Debra (Terry) Wood, Brenda (Bob) Hampton and Lorraine Jordan-Fite; grandchildren, Rob (Kendra) Hampton, Brooke Wood, Hillary (Chris) Kerbawy, Ryan (Laura Powers) Hampton, Randy (Heidi) Hampton, Adam Wood, Cori (Eric Albrecht) Fite and Tyler (Stephanie Olbrey) Jordan; great-grandchildren, Liam and Ava Kerbawy, Max, Jonah, Frank, Will, Ellie and Caleb Hampton, Aubrey Graham, Logan and Brantley Jordan; sister, Virginia (Kimball) Palmatree; brothers, Jim (Sharon) Rawles, Richard (Mae) Rawles, Frank (Connie) Rawles and Gary (Julia) Rawles; many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Denise Katherine Jordan in 1964; sisters, Marion, Margie and Luella; and brother, Ivan Jr.
