DAVIS, Louis Eugene Jr. “Geno” – of Burton, age 73, passed away December 14, 2014 at McLaren-Flint. A Funeral Service will be held 12 PM Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor Greg Rowan from Judson Baptist Church officiating. Burial, with Military Honors will be in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 12-7 PM Tuesday and 10 AM until the time of service on Wednesday. A Lutheran Service will be held 7 PM Tuesday officiated by Rev. Gregory Ewald from Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
Louis was born in Mark Tree, AR on April 11, 1941, son of the late Louis and Alberta (Malone) Davis, Sr. He graduated from Central High School in 1961. Louis married Joann Kilbourn on October 28, 2000 in Flint, MI. He proudly served his country during Vietnam. Louis enjoyed coffee and sweets but most of all he enjoyed breakfast at Bob Evans. He was employed at General Motors.
Louis is survived by his wife, Joann; children, Vincent and Jamie, Ed and Rachel, Kevin and Barb; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mildred Fortner, Gloria (Jim) McCurdy; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Judy Davis; sister, Helen Woodall.
