HALABICKY, Mark Edward “Mailman” – of Flint, age 58, passed away December 12, 2018. A Funeral Service will be held 2 PM Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Rev. Pete Scribner officiating. Private burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-4 and 6-8 PM Saturday and 1 PM until time of service on Sunday. Memorial contributions may be made to the McLaren-Flint Auxiliary.
Mark was born on November 29, 1960 at Saint John Hospital, Detroit, MI, son of Robert and Gail Halabicky. His kids are his pride and joy. Mark had a passion for gardening and loved being at his up north home in Oscoda, MI where he made so many memories with his loved ones. Mark was a dedicated postal carrier with the Flint Post Office for 27 years where he met his wife, Cindy. He will be dearly missed by all of his coworkers and those he served on his routes.
Mark is survived by his loving and courageous wife, Cindy; children, Sarah, Kaycee, Zackary, Steven, Cayla and Christian; parents, Robert and Gail; sister, Patricia (Randy) Kopf; brothers, Michael (Jo), Robert (Wendy), Douglas (Holly) and Joe (Kathy); mothers-in-law, Linda (John Starkey) Morgan and Merry Wambold; father-in-law, Bernie Morgan; grandchild, Garett; many nieces and nephews.
