CARRICK, Clifford Daniel – age 89, passed away on June 17, 2018 in Burton, Michigan. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 22, 2018 at 12:00 PM at Hill Funeral Home – 11723 S. Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, Michigan with Pastor Chuck Lixey officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 22, 2018 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Hill Funeral Home. Interment at Sunset Hills Cemetery in Flint, Michigan. Clifford was born on February 4, 1929 in Flint, Michigan to the late Corbin and Margaret Carrick. On August 7, 1948, Clifford married the love of his life Sharon Gregory together they built a life full of happiness, love, and compassion. Clifford was quiet, loving, and hardworking family man. He loved tinkering in the garage fixing lawn mowers. He worked for General Motors for over 36 years. Clifford was a wonderful man that will be deeply missed. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Sharon; children: Jeanette Carrick, Bonnie (Chuck) Lixey; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sister, Frances Meier; and brother, Ed Carrick. He was preceded in death by sons: Howard Wayne Carrick, Larry Lee Carrick, Philip Ronald Carrick, Donald Lee Carrick. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
