PORRITT, Betty A. - Of Davison, age 92, died Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at her residence. A celebration of her life memorial will be held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Father Thomas Firestone officiating. Burial of her cremated remains will take place following the memorial service in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Catholic Charities.
Betty was born in on March 27, 1923. She enjoyed spending time with family.
Surviving are her
3 children, Ed (Becky) Porritt of Idaho, Loretta (Butch) Momany of Davison and Cathy (Rick) Barlow of Harrisville, MI;
daughter-in-law, Paula Porritt of Flint;
9 grandchildren;
17 great-grandchildren;
2 great-great-grandchildren;
brother, Ward (Peg) Eppinger of Flushing;
many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Porritt, Jr. in 1990; sons, Gary and Charles III; parents; 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
