BAILEY, Karen Elizabeth - Of Flint, age 59, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at Hurley Medical Center.
A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00pm on Monday, July 1, 2024 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Pastor Steve Wood officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12:00pm-6:00pm on Sunday at the funeral home. Visitation also from 11:00am on Monday until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
Karen was born in Flint, Michigan on November 19, 1964, the daughter of Chester and Arbadella (Thacker) Bailey. Karen worked for the Flint Schools for many years. She loved reading, traveling and spending time with her family. Karen fought cancer for 20 years.
Surviving are son, Kyle Bailey;
Granddaughter, Lucia Bailey;
Brother, James M. Bailey;
And many loving family members.
