LOMINAC, Nancy Jean – Of Flint, age 82, died Sunday, June 10, 2018 at her home in Flint, with her loving family present, after being diagnosed with cancer, she survived 8 weeks.
Visitation 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Funeral service will held at 12 noon Friday, June 15, 2018 at Kyker Funeral Home, 350 West Race Street, Kingston, TN.
Burial in Kingston Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Nancy was born in Roane County, Tennessee on September 8, 1935, the daughter of the late Mike Columbus and Bessie Smith (nee Harvey), who have been anxiously awaiting her return home.
Nancy moved to Flint in 1956 and built her home.
She was a graduate of Mott Community College and retired from Kroger.
She was always ready to help a family member help themselves.
Surviving are daughter, Barb (Mike) Vock, Teresa (John) Sluys;
sons, Fred Kreider, Ron Kreider and Bill (Kyungae) Kreider;
17 grandchildren;
many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren;
siblings, Reed, Raymond and Jim.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Tom, Mike, Becky, Ruth, Elizabeth and Faye; 2 grandchildren.
