DICKERSON, Gary J. – of Davison, age 59, passed away May 4, 2016 at his residence. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 1:30 PM Saturday, May 7, 2016 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 N. Dayton St., Davison; Rev. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski celebrant. Cremation will follow the Mass. Visitation will be 2-8 PM Friday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. There will be visitation from 12 PM until time of service on Saturday in the chapel at the church with a Rosary being prayed at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a youth wish hunt, checks payable to Mary Ann Dickerson.
Gary was born in Flint, MI on October 28, 1956, son of Jack and Linda (Blakeslee) Dickerson. He married Mary Ann LaFerriere on March 1, 1975. Gary was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, life member of the Safari Club, Local # 370 Master Plumber and was an avid hunter. He owned and operated Dickerson Mechanical Inc. for 21 years.
Gary is survived by his best friend and wife of 41 years, Mary Ann; children, Michael (Amy) Dickerson, Kristine (Forrest) Menzing and Kari (Joshua) Morris; grandchildren, Trammell, Taylor, Joseph, Oliver, Max, Jay, Jack, Liam, Claire, Blake and Ava. He was preceded in death by his in-laws, Oliver and Edna LaFerriere.
