Celeah Emma Strong, age 97, of Columbiaville died June 10, 2013 at Ferguson Convalescent Home in Lapeer.
Celeah was born November 27, 1915 in in Scottville, MI. The daughter of the late Gustav and Vera Rosander. She later married Bernard L. Strong on February 11, 1939 in Ludington. Celeah was a member of the Columbiaville United Methodist Church, she loved working on the flowers in her garden, but most of all spending time with family and friends.
Celeah is survived by her children: Marvin ( Marlene ) Strong,
Bruce ( Sharon ) Strong, Larry ( Sharon ) Strong, and
Jeanette ( Bill ) Edwards. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren,
and 21 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bernard, and her siblings.
Funeral service Friday 11:00 AM from Jansen Family Funeral Home - Columbiaville, where friends may visit on Thursday 3-9 PM.
Pastor Kristen Parks officiating. Interment Wood Lawn Cemetery. Memorials in memory of Celeah may be made to the church or National Diabetes Foundation.
