MALCOLM, Florence Ann – of Clio, age 88, died Friday, February 17, 2017 at McLaren of Flint. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Saints Charles and Helena Catholic Church in Clio. Rev. Fr. Kenneth Coughlin officiating. Burial to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Family will receive visitors at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio on Tuesday from 2-9 PM and at the church on Wednesday from 10 AM until time of Mass at 11 AM. A parish vigil service will be held at the funeral home at 7 PM Tuesday. Contributions in her memory may be made to Carmelite Sisters or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
Florence was born August 5, 1928 in Moran, IN to the late Frank and Josephine (Bushamp) Campbell. She was a Clio resident for over 60 years. Florence was an Avon Representative for many years and also worked at several restaurants. She was a member of Saints Charles and Helena Catholic Church. Florence enjoyed having yard sales, going to the casino, playing bingo and spending time with her family.
Surviving are: Children: Lois (Ellsworth) Knapp of Montrose, Chuck (Charlotte) Malcolm of Flushing, Karen Malcolm of Clio, Ken (Sue) Malcolm of Clio; 18 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren; Sister, Betty Adams of Reed City; nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by: 2 husbands, Charles A. Malcom and James Kimmer; Great-grandson, Jacob Knapp; 9 brothers and sisters.
