MORLEY, Austin L. - of Mt. Morris, age 24, died Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 11AM Friday, February 9, 2018 at Messiah Lutheran Church. 520 Butler St. - Clio. Pastor Erik Cloeter officiating. Cremation to follow. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Thursday from 4PM until 8PM and at the church on Friday from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to O’Guinn Family Funeral Home to help the family with funeral expenses.
Austin was born December 5, 1993 in Flint, Michigan to Randy Boggs and Dana Morley. He attended Clio Schools and graduated from Flushing High School in 2012. Austin owned and operated his own jewelry design business Where the Wire Things are. He was a true artist and you could see the passion in all his creations. Austin was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Clio. He was also a fantastic creative musician and played percussion, and guitar. Austin enjoyed spending time in nature, camping, snowmobiling, and music concerts & festivals where he met most of his friends. He loved traveling, being an outgoing free spirit with his thoughts and art work and creating lasting memories. He impacted many lives with his bright sense of energy, genuine, silly, kind, positive, and uplifting attitude. Austin will always be remembered for his beautiful smile, and how he was always on the move to bigger and better things. He loved his niece, Samaria and always enjoyed spending time with her. Austin will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Surviving are: Sister, Alexxa Morley; Brother, Paris Boggs; Father, Randy Boggs; Grandmothers: Beverly Knoblock, and Delores Boggs; Uncle, Todd (Alane) Morley; Aunt, Donna Langston; Cousins: Tyler Morley and Kelly Langston; Step father, Mitch Neeley; Best friends: Jesse Huchstetler, and Santiago. Austin was preceded in death by his mother, Dana Morley in 2015; Brother, Alec Morley; Cousin, Zachary Allen Morley; Grandfather, William Morley.
