Age: 65

Ralph Paul Cook, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2025, in Grand Blanc, Michigan, at the age of 65. Born on April 16, 1959, in Lincoln Park, Michigan, Ralph's life was a testament to the love and laughter he brought into the world.

Ralph graduated from Lakeville Schools in 1979 and soon after embarked on a career at General Motors, where he dedicated 25 years of service before retiring in 2004. His work ethic and commitment to the company were matched only by his devotion to his family and his passion for life.

He was the loving husband of Brenda, with whom he shared a beautiful life and raised a family that was his pride and joy. Together, they nurtured a home filled with warmth and happiness. Ralph was a guiding light for his children, Phillip Cook, Julius Cook, Terry (Beth) Montney, Jason Montney, Breann (David) Furtado, Sheena (Dan) Teddy, and his adored 10 grandchildren: Dominic, Kendra, Jasmine, Nathan, Justin, Christopher, Kaitlyn, Emma, Cali, and Sam. The recent addition of his great-grandchildren, Brinley and Ivy, brought him immense joy and pride. He is also survived by his sister in-law Cindy Lazzio.

Ralph was preceded in death by his loving parents, Ralph and Lillian, his brother Jimmy, and his grandson Kenny. His memory will be forever cherished by those who were fortunate enough to have known him.

An avid Detroit Tigers baseball fan, Ralph's enthusiasm for the game was infectious. He could often be found cheering on his favorite team, whether from the stands or his living room. His love for music was profound, and he found great joy in playing in his band and listening to The Beatles. Ralph's presence at his children's sporting events was a given back in the day; he was their biggest fan and supporter.

Those who knew Ralph will remember him as a loving, thoughtful, and funny individual. His sense of humor and ability to bring laughter to any situation were some of his most endearing qualities. He had a knack for making everyone around him feel special and loved, and his thoughtful gestures will be deeply missed by all.

Ralph's legacy is one of love, laughter, and music. He lived his life with a joyous heart and left an indelible mark on the hearts of those he touched. His family takes comfort in knowing that his spirit will live on through the memories they hold dear and the stories they will continue to share.
