Wanda J. Tribelhorn, 77, of Houghton Lake passed away on Monday May 5, 2014 at The Brook of Houghton Lake.
Wanda was born on July 7, 1936 in Flint, Michigan to Vernon and Bernice(Lambill) Graves . Wanda grew up in the Flint area and graduated from Flint Technical. Wanda was married on August 23, 1958 in Flint to William J. Tribelhorn, and he preceded Wanda in death on March 17, 2014. The couple spent the past seven years in Houghton Lake. Wanda was a bank secretary for several years and was a homemaker, wife, and mother, most her life. Wanda was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, 5073 Daly Blvd., Flint, Mi. 48506 and enjoyed baking, gardening, and most of all, family.
Surviving Mrs. Tribelhorn are her two sons, Brian Tribelhorn of Houghton Lake, and David(Glenda) Tribelhorn of Flushing; grandson, Chris Tribelhorn of Houghton Lake; granddaughter, Breanna Tribelhorn of Houghton Lake; and several nieces and nephews. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, husband, William J. Tribelhorn, granddaughter, Jessica Kay Tribelhorn, and brother, Vernon Graves.
Funeral Services for Wanda J. Tribelhorn will be conducted at 11:00 am on Friday May 9, 2014 from St. Mark Lutheran Church, 5073 Daly Blvd., Flint, Michigan with Pastor Gary Beck officiating. Interment will be in Flint Memorial Park, Mount Morris. Visitation will be held on Friday May 9, 2014 from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 11:00 am at St. Mark Lutheran Church. Memorial Contribution in memory of Wanda are asked to be directed to The Brook of Houghton Lake or Grayling Mercy Hospice. Christler Funeral Home, Houghton Lake Chapel is serving the family.
