DEAL, John H.- Age 94, of Swartz Creek, died Thursday September 22, 2016. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday September 26 at Peace Presbyterian Church, 1521 Elms Rd, Flint. Reverend Robert C. Deal officiating. Visitation will take place from 10 AM until the time of service at the church. Those desiring may make contributions to the Genesee County Veterans Administration.
John was born July 30, 1922 in Saginaw to Fred and Margaret (Weitz) Deal. He was a graduate of Flint Northern High School. Upon graduating from high school he joined the United States Army Air Corps. He married Adeline E. Winterle in Flint on May 19, 1951. He graduated and received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Ferris State University. He retired from Gerholz Realty after twenty five years of service..
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Adeline; children, Julie Ann (Rodney) Hagler of Gaines, Barbara Ryan of Swartz Creek, and John (Cassie) Deal of Clio; twelve grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Robert (Melba) Deal of Glendale, AZ.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, William; sisters, Marie Langolf and Elsie Peterson.
