HANCZARYK, ORYST – Of Grand Blanc, age 70, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 24, 2024.
Oryst was born in January 5, 1954 at St. Joseph Hospital in Flint, Michigan, beloved son of Stefania and Anton Hanczaryk.
He is survived by his brother, Dr. Micheil and wife Janice Hanczaryk;
Nieces, Alexis Hanczaryk and Dr. Christine Hanczaryk (MacKenzie Dunklee); great-nephew, Berkeley Hanczaryk.
He was a true aficionado of classic cars and had a passion for Corvettes. He spent hours driving and showcasing his cars with fellow enthusiasts and making friends along the way.
He was a devoted fan of classic rock, with Led Zeppelin holding a special place in this heart.
Oryst retired from Kroger’s at a relatively young age, which allowed him the freedom to travel.
He especially loved spending his winter months in Florida with friends and his Corvette.
Oryst’s love of life, family and friends was evident in all that he did. He will be remembered for his warm smile, kind heart and the way he made every moment special. He will be interned at Evergreen Cemetery next to his parents.
