TAYLOR, Harold – Of Flint, age 84, died Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Regency of Grand Blanc.
Funeral service will be held at 12 noon Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend Marvin Herman
officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation 3-8 p.m. Monday and 10 a.m. Tuesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Harold was born in Flint, Michigan on May 8, 1931, the son of Teresa and Hugh Taylor.
He graduated from Fenton High School in 1949.
He spent four years in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict.
He graduated in 1959 from Ferris with a Pharmacy Degree and was President of the Kappa Phi Fraternity.
He married Patsy Ann (Carter) in October, 1959.
Mr. Taylor worked at K-Mart as a Pharmacist on Belsay Road and retired in 1992. During this time he married Betty Gould in 1989.
He loved to hunt, he loved his church and loved his family more than anything.
Suriviving are daughters, Renee and husband Robert Clements of Swartz Creek, Brigitte and husband Christopher Hoppe of Rockford, IL;
six grandchildren, Kelcie, Logan and Macey Clements, Kailey, Taylor and Tyler Hoppe;
one great-grandson, Asher;
several step-children and step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Ann, in 1987 and wife, Betty, in 2005.
