Carol Lee Richmond (nee Nieman) went home to be with the Lord, surrounded by her loving family on September 13, 2020.
Carol was born on September 26, 1942 to Elmer and Clara (nee Davis) Neiman of Montrose, Michigan.
On January 16, 1961, she married Paul Richmond, and they enjoyed 59 wonderful years together. She enjoyed her family, bingo, travel, and "Island Living" with her dear friends.
Carol is survived by her husband, Paul; her sons, Randy (Nancy) Richmond and Robert (Pam) Richmond; three grandchildren, Domonique (Raymond) VanDenBroock, Sutton (Candace) Richmond, and Kayleigh (Nick) Levasseur; four great-grandchildren, Aurelia, Kamryn, Mack, and Wade; siblings, Sue (Mike) Brannam, Karen Nieman, Carol Nieman, Paul Kelly, Rosie Wagner, and Maureen Bishop; in-laws, Howard (Janet) Richmond, David (Kathy) Richmond, Gary (Teena) Richmond, Vickie (Larry) Johnston, Susan Richmond, Charlotte (Troy) Richardson, Kimmie Albrect, Jack (Linda) Richmond; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Don Nieman and Jack Kelly; sisters Kathryn Nieman and Joanie VanDenBerg; parent-in-law Odell and Hassie Richmond; and brother-in-law Tom Richmond and Dean Albrect.
The family will greet friends from 11:00am until time of funeral service at 3:00pm on Friday, September 18, 2020 at Reigle Funeral Home, 5501 W. Pierson Rd., Flushing, Michigan. Interment will take place at 9:30 am on Wednesday, September 23 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, Michigan.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions in Carol's honor be directed to St. Jude (www.StJude.org)
