SMITH, Sharon – of Flint, age 73, passed away July 4, 2016 at McLaren-Flint. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Friday, July 8, 2016 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor Larry Survance officiating. Burial will be in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-8 PM Wednesday and Thursday. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Friday.
Sharon was born on Flint, MI on February 8, 1943, daughter of the late Robert and Dorothy (Lince) Allen. She married Milton Smith on August 10, 1963 in Burton, MI. Sharon enjoyed crafting, shopping, collector of angels and bears and an animal lover. First and foremost, she was a proud mother and grandmother. Sharon adored children, was extremely social and outgoing and loved by so many. She was unselfish and always ready to help anyone in need. Sharon’s life work was raising her children.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Milton; children, Debra (Dwight) Billings of Davison and Daniel (Roni West) Smith of Flint; adored granddaughter, Katie Smith; sister, Dorothy Wheeler; brother, Robert C. (Sherron) Allen; her beloved dog, Pixie; many close friends and shopping pals. She was preceded in death by her sister, Elaine Dean.
