RANKIN, Barbara Anne - age 80, of Fenton, died Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at her residence. A memorial service will be held 11 AM Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Fenton First Presbyterian Church, 503 S. Leroy St., Fenton with Pastor Lindsey Carnes officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Fenton. The family will receive friends from 10 AM - 11 AM Saturday at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Music Program at Fenton First Presbyterian Church. Barbara was born July 29, 1938 in Pittsburgh, PA, the daughter of Thomas Alexander and Elizabeth Anne (Ferguson) Marshall. She owned and operated J&B Secretarial Services since 1986 and received the Top 25 Michigan Women Business Owner of Distinction Award in 1997 by the Greater Detroit Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners. Barbara was a very active member and former board member of the Fenton Regional Chamber of Commerce. She was an member of Fenton First Presbyterian Church where she served as an Elder and a member of the Choir. Surviving are: three children, Michele (Jack) Cantrell of Beavercreek, OH, Kent (Carla) Senger of Swartz Creek, and Cindy (Tom) Crawford of Fenton; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Pat (Duncan) Marshall of South Carolina; companion, Jesse James of Fenton. She was preceded in death by: her parents; and son, Michael Moulliet. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Barbara's hospice nurse, Makella.
