ELLINGSON, Paul "Ted" - age 75, of Fenton, died Tuesday, January 23, 2018. Funeral services will be held 3 PM Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton with Rev. Dean Dumbrille officiating. Interment will follow at Tyrone Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held 1 PM - 3 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Trinity Lutheran Church, 1025 Main St. Fenton. Ted was born January 4, 1943 in Roseville, MI, the son of Bernard and Marion (Eberst) Ellingson. He married Carolyn Cole on March 21, 1964 in Roseville and she preceded him in death on May 21, 2002. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and retired from General Motors as an electrician. Surviving are: daughter, Dawn Ellingson of Fenton; son, Paul (Chris Ann) Ellingson, Jr.; granddaughter, Lexis Ellingson; sister, Linda (Giuseppe) D'Alessaandro; many nephews and a niece; caregivers, Mary Foguth, Bev and Janet. He was preceded in death by: his parents, Bernard and Marion; his wife, Carolyn; sister, Elaine Idoni; brother-in-law, Jim Idoni; and friend, Donna VanEvery.
