Linda Joy Anderson, age 67 Lapeer, passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2020. She was born on February 1, 1952 in Flint to parents Donald and Gladys (Smith) Barber. She loved to reminisce about her childhood and the time she spent up north in Mesick. Linda also enjoyed crafting, listening to audiobooks, going out to lunch with “The Double D’s” (Dialysis Divas), and loved to brag about her badminton prowess. More than anything, she loved spending time with all of her grandchildren. Linda will be lovingly remembered by her children: Teresa (Wilson) Garcia, Daryl (Nichole Smith-Anderson) Anderson, Michael (Tracy) Anderson, and Greg (Krystal) Anderson; grandchildren: Alexis, Alyson, Andrew, Paige, Hayden, Logan, Kylee, David, and Olivia; siblings: Donna Burr, Joyce Barber, Gail LePage, and Judy Barber; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by both parents; husband, Delbert Anderson; brother, David Barber. A memorial service will be held at 1pm on Friday, January 24, 2020 at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service, beginning at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make a contribution to the American Diabetes Association. |
