CLARK, ROBERT D. “BOB” – Of Flushing, age 80, died Sunday, October 6, 2024 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, October 11, 2024 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Father Joseph Abud officiating.
Private Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery.
Visitation 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Prayer Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Tunnel to Towers or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Bob was born in Marrieta, Ohio on June 26, 1944, the son of the late Robert and Margaret (Jacobs) Clark.
He served his country in the United States Air Force as a Military Policeman.
On November 12, 1996 he married Linda.
He loved his Corvettes and anything to do with airplanes and was an Ohio State Buckeye’s fan.
Bob loved watching his grandchildren play sports.
He was a Police Officer for the City of Flint, after 40 years of service, retiring as a Captain in 2005. Prior to his career for the City of Flint he was with the Ohio State Police for a short time. He was a member of FOP.
Surviving are wife, Linda;
children, Keli Clark, Kimberly Clark, Brian Albert and Kelly Dotson;
grandchildren, Jacob, Kadyn, Dylan, Noah, Luke, Sadie and Caleb;
sister, Sharon and husband Bob Dotson;
brother, John and wife Linda Clark;
sister-in-law, Janet and husband Loren Jagger;
brother-in-law, Dave and wife Dianne Scott;
many nieces and nephews.
