SHUERT, Sue R. – Of Grand Blanc, age 51, died Monday, September 2, 2013 at McLaren-Northern Michigan.
Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Central Church of the Nazarene, G-1261 West Bristol Road, Flint,
Pastor Steve Gibson officiating.
Visitation 12 noon-8 p.m. Friday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Visitation at the church from 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of the service.
Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.
Sue was born in Flint, Michigan on March 2, 1962, the daughter of Edward and Beverly (Waun) Rollier.
She graduated from Grand Blanc High School in 1980.
On June 26, 1982 she married Mike Shuert in Flint.
She was a member of Central Church of the Nazarene. Sue’s faith in God was important to her. She attended Brown City Missionary Camp all of her life.
Sue was a Dental Assistant for over 25 years and was currently working for Dr. Werschky and Lewis Family Dentistry, along with the girls at the office.
Sue’s nature was to help people, putting others before herself, and touching the lives of everyone she met with her kind smile, support, and encouragement. Sue’s ultimate gift was to donate to the Gift of Life so others can live on.
She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter and sister and a second mother to all of her nieces and nephews.
Surviving are husband, Mike;
daughter, Breana;
son, Matthew;
mother, Beverly and husband Roy Carlson;
brothers, Michael and wife Barbara Rollier,
Stephen and wife Ann Rollier;
mother and father-in-law, Eileen and Bert Shuert;
sisters-in-law, Cheri and husband Steve Tomasky and Lori Topping;
brother-in-law, Mark Shuert.
She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Rollier.
