SEVENER, Frederic Deroy - Of Grand Blanc, age 90, died Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Grand Blanc Fields Assisted Living.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Tom Travis officiating.
Burial in Davison Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to Carriage Town Ministries in Flint, MI.
Visitation 11:00 am – Tuesday at the funeral home until the time of the service.
Frederic was born on April 19, 1929 in Flint, MI, the son of the late Otto Sevener and Hazel Fuller.
He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He was an Electrical Engineer. He worked for various companies including Boeing Airplane Company, Burroughs, INC, Convair, Ryan Aeronautical, Vega, AIL Corp, and Federal Electric Corp.
Frederic traveled the world and always had many great stories to tell. He was a lover of the opera, classic movies and trivia.
Survivors are 5 children, Marilyn Nichols of Grand Blanc, Julie Adams of Burton, Thai Sevener of Westminster, Hao Sevener of Centreville, Brian Sevener of Grand Blanc;
grandchildren, Brandy Sevener, Breanne (Landon) Green, Meagan Nichols, Justin Adams, Ben (Tiffany) Nichols, Jessica Adams, Tyler and Skylar Sevener;
10 great-grandchildren and
1 brother, Robert (Patricia) Fuller of Manton.
He was Preceded in death by parents, Otto and Hazel; ex-wife, Evelyn Sevener; wife, Nguyet Sevener and son, Terry Sevener.
