LOVELADY, Henry L. – of Montrose, formerly Davison, age 59, died Thursday, February 19, 2015 at his residence surrounded by family. Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 1PM Sunday, February 22, 2015 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio with military honors under the direction of the Clio American Legion Post # 158. Pastor Ed Emmerling officiating. Family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Sunday from 10AM until time of service at 1PM. Contributions may be made to the family.
Henry was born on September 13, 1955 in Flint to the late Henry and Ruth (Pehl) Lovelady. He was a 1973 graduate of Davison High School and later attended Mott Community College. Henry married Karen Sue Crews on January 25, 1975. Mr. Lovelady was a mechanic in the U.S. Army from 1974 until 1977. He retired from Flint Truck and Bus in 2014 with over 36 years seniority and was a member of the UAW local # 598. Henry was a life member of the NRA. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and farming.
Surviving are: Wife, Karen Lovelady of Montrose; Children: Henry (Amy) Lovelady of Davison, Jennifer Lovelady of Mt. Morris and Cheyenne Lovelady of Montrose; Grandchildren: Brenden Lovelady, Caleb Wagner, Wyatt Roggenbuck and Aleah Lovelady; Siblings: Pete, Milly and Mark.
