GAULIN, Thomas Robert - Age 85, of Fenton, died Thursday, February 9, 2017. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Fr. Bosco Padamattummal celebrant. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton Monday from 2-8 PM where a vigil service will be held at 7:00 PM and at church Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the time of Mass. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Vincent de Paul.
Thomas was born January 17, 1932 in South Attleboro, MA, the son of Leonide and Laura (Theroux) Gaulin. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Navy. He married Inga Hansen March 25, 1954 in South Attleboro, MA and she preceded him in death December 9, 2006. He retired from Ford Motor Company after 29.2 years of service. Thomas was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Fenton Knights of Columbus Council #7418, and the Fenton Fraternal Order of Eagle. He also was a life member of the Durand AmVets and American Legion in Lansing.
Surviving are: son, Thomas and wife Teresa Gaulin of California; daughter, Rosemary Juzswik of Warren; granddaughters, Karen and Angela Juzswik. He was also preceded in death by his parents; brother, Richard Gaulin; sisters, Theresa Kane, Margaret Blade, and Rose Biebeault; neices, Jackie, Cheryl, and Sharon.
