STEVENS, John “Jack” Anthony – of Flint, MI, age 58, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2019. A Funeral Liturgy will be held 11 AM Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Rev. Fr. Roy Horning officiating. Interment immediately following the service in Sunset Hills Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 11 AM-8 PM Tuesday, July 9, 2019 and 10-11 AM Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family, in John’s memory.
Jack was born in Flint, MI on November 18, 1960, son of the late Edward and Philomena (Russo) Stevens. He retired from Kearsley Community Schools in 2015 after 30 years of service. Jack was an avid bird watcher and especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Jack is survived by 2 children, Jackie (Jason) Bowman and Eric Stevens; 3 grandchildren, Jaren Bowman, Joslyn Bowman and Mariah Lumm; 3 sisters, Diane Bowe, Nancy (Mark) Avitts and Patty (Steve) Fairman; many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Edward Stevens and his niece, Nicole Avitts.
