ODYKIRK, Richard Hamilton - born in Flint Township, Michigan 9-3-1940. He died in Midland, Michigan on 6-6-14. Dick was the son of William H. and Lila Mae (LaGuire) Odykirk. Dick was the youngest of four children with sister Darlene, brothers Bill and Bob. His Father, Mother, sister Darlene and brother Bob preceded him in death.
Dick graduated from the Dye School as a proud Thunderbolt. He retired from General Motors Parts Plant, Swartz Creek, where he was affectionately called "Ody" and a member of UAW Local 659.
Dick is survived by his son Jon (Wendy) Odykirk and two granddaughters, Jenna and Rachel of Clare, brother Bill(Wanda) Odykirk of Mt. Pleasant. He is also survived by five nephews and three nieces.
There will be a grave side Memorial Service conducted by Swartz Funeral Home at Bristol Road Cemetery held at 2pm Friday June 20, 2014.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
