SNYDER, Jeanette F. – Of Tawas City, age 85, died on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at her residence.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 East Bristol Road, Burton,
Father Steve Anderson officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Visitation 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at the Swart Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. A Rosary will be prayed at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Snyder will be at the church from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the Mass.
Jeanette was born in Burton, Michigan on October 27, 1927, the daughter of Tony and Sue Clark.
She graduated from Bendle High School in 1945.
On August 24, 1946 she married Edwin Snyder and had been married for 58 years and he preceded her in death in April, 2004.
Mrs. Snyder was a bookkeeper for her husband and Tharp Refrigeration and Carl’s Appliance.
She is survived by her seven children, Kay (Jerry) Bergdorf,
Joan (Greg) Girard,
Carl (Marcia) Snyder,
Freda (Terry) Larkin,
Chris (Greg) Compata,
Wade T. Snyder and
Janet Lamb;
9 grandchildren;
17 great-grandchildren;
2 great-great-grandchildren;
brother-in-law, Jim Barnett and sister-in-law, Leota Clark;
many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Ross Snyder on April 9, 2011; son-in-law, Rick Lamb on September 30, 2011 and dog, Charlie.
