PRATT, La Donna L., of Lapeer, MI age 94, went to be with her heavenly Father on Thursday, October 17, 2019, at Stonegate of Lapeer, MI. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI in the spring of 2020. Donna was born November 19, 1924 to Jerry and Luci Van Camp. She married Bob Pratt in August 1942 and they were married 70 years. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She was loved dearly, by her whole family. She retired from AC Spark Plug in 1974, and moved to Florida, where she enjoyed the beach, gardening, and going to the Casino, she also loved to travel, she especially enjoyed being with her family. She was a proud member of Little River Band of Ottawa Indians, of Manistee, MI. She is survived by her daughters, Sherron Van Slyke of Flint and Sandra Cantin of Davison; 4 grandchildren: Tracy Van Slyke, Robby Cantin, Missy (Jeff) Reynolds, and Nikki Cantin; 3 great grandchildren: David (Chelsie) Cantin, Sydnee (Nick) Nelson, Reid Reynolds; 4 great-great grandchildren, 2 sisters: Rachael Chace, Carole (Bob) Woodbury; sister-in-laws: Mary (Ray) Gove and Connie Pratt, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; step mother, Alice Van Camp; husband, Robert; grandson, Mark Van Slyke; son-in-law, Phil Van Slyke; 2 brothers, Clifton and Parke Van Camp. We would like to especially thank the staff at Devonshire assisted living, for all the love, kindness, and care they gave our mom. |
