ADORJAN , Helen Patricia (Pat) – of Davison, in God’s perfect time and with family at her side, peacefully left this earth October 28, 2014 after her battle with cancer. Per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 11 AM; Daniel Botsford officiating. Visitation will be 10- 11 AM Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Davison Senior Center or the Anglers of the AuSable.
Pat was born on January 16, 1932, in Harlingen, TX to William and Helen (Leary) Woods. She was a seventh generation Woods with documented history back to the Alamo and Fort Woods in Troy, MO. Pat grew up in Virginia where she met her sailor, Charles (Bob) Adorjan. They married March 5, 1950, moved to Michigan in 1951 and in 1975 settled in Davison Township. Bob and Pat traveled extensively fishing, golfing, snowmobiling, and experiencing many cultures around the globe. Between trips, Pat was a hairdresser, beauty consultant and bus driver. She was active at the Davison Senior Center and belonged to the Red Hat Mad Hatters Chapter. Over the years, Pat’s interests varied and included golf (even getting a hole in one at the Davison Country Club), bowling, snowmobiling, continued education in computers, mechanics, arts and crafts. Pat had a soft spot for all animals, especially her beagles Tia and Jack.
Pat was prededed in death by Bob in 2010 and is survived by three children, Linda Adorjan of Canton, Diana Adorjan-Kusmider of Rodney, and Bobby Adorjan of Canton.
