ARROWOOD, Wanda L. – Of Flint, age 70, died Monday, May 22, 2017 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 26, 2017 at
Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend Keith McKinnies officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Visitation 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Wanda was born on January 19, 1947 in Cheboygan, the daughter of the late Lyle and Virginia (Hart) Waldie.
On June 25, 1966 she married Hargis Arrowood in Flint, Michigan and he preceded her in death on July 23, 2000.
She was a member of Calvary Apostolic Tabernacle. She loved bowling and the Detroit Tigers. Wanda was active in the Flint Beecher High School Class of 1966 Reunions.
Surviving are two daughters, Cynthia and husband Robert Kise,
Sandra and husband Jeffrey Bumstead;
three grandchildren, Kayla, Kyle and Allisyn;
sister, Susie (Leroy) Vannoy;
several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Brian Waldie and sister, Rita Waldie-Blake.
