MAHONEY, Julie Carol – age 42 of Mt. Morris, MI made her new home in Heaven on June 26, 2016. Our hearts ache for you. Julie will be forever loved and missed. We will always remember that beautiful smile. You will always in our hearts and minds. Julie was born on July 19, 1973. Julie was a care giver for 20 years for mentally and physically handicapped group homes. She absolutely loved her clients. It wasn’t just a job to her. She loved camping, cats (there was never a homeless cat around Julie), and family gatherings. She will forever be loved by her family. She leaves behind her parents, Jerry and Vicki Mahoney; brother, Justin and his daughter Brooklyn; sister, Ashley and her daughter Hayley; grandparents, Harry Potbury and Doris Lutz; special uncle, Jesse Dickinson and aunt Jean; special aunt, Carol (whom she was named after), several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in Heaven by her grandparents, Ed and Ann Dickinson, and Ernest and Helen Mahoney; aunt, Linda Grubb; and baby cousin, Jason Dickinson. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held on her birthday, July 19th at 1:00pm at First Baptist Church (6106 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc, MI 48439).
