Bradford Lobdell, age 83, passed away on January 31, 2020 at Heartland Fostrian nursing home in Flushing, Michigan. He retired from AC Spark Plug after 30 years of work and was a member of the UAW Local 651. Bradford was a harness horse owner and trainer and belonged to the MHHA (Michigan Harness Horseman Association) and the USTA (United States Trotting Association). He was also a lifetime woodworker.
He is survived by his wife, Katy Lobdell; sisters: Judy Chapman and Shirley Armor; mother of his 4 daughters: Janet Ward; daughters: Kim (Tim) Lobdell-Montrose of Columbia, TN, Diane (Daryl) Lobdell-Patton of Dallas, TX, Stacy (Cindy) Lobdell of Columbia, TN, Lavon Lobdell of Gaines, MI, Sandra Dew of Flushing, MI, Rebecca Gagnon of Flushing, MI; grandchildren: Jennifer (Jerrid) Heidel of Swartz Creek, MI, Alec (Melody) Sedlack of Fife Lake, MI, Amanda (Doug) Markusson of North Hollywood, CA, Kayleigh Sedlack of Ashville, NC, Tyler Hooper of Waynesboro, GA, Bradford Montrose of Columbia, TN, Jonathan Hill of Waynesboro, GA, Lauren and Haley Zimmers of Dallas, TX, Morgan Montrose of Columbia, TN; great grandchildren: Katelyn Niezgucki of Swartz Creek, MI, Larkin Heidel of Temple, TX, Gracin Heidel of Swartz Creek, MI, Athena Sedlack of Fife Lake, MI, Sadie Markusson of North Hollywood, CA, Brody Sedlack of Fife Lake, MI; nieces and nephews: Julie, Chris, Jackie, Tricia and a loving thank you to Doug Jr.
Special thanks from the family to Erica of AAHHC and the staff of Heartland Fostrian. Bradford was preceded in death by his father, Jack Lobdell; mother, Lois Lobdell; brother, Doug Lobdell; nephew, Carey Chapman.
A memorial service will take place on February 8, 2020 at the West Flint Church of the Nazarene, 2254 South Dye Road, Flint, MI at 1:30pm with visitation starting at 1pm. |
