MALOTT, Barbara F. (Bobbie) - Of Flushing, age 81, passed peacefully Saturday, August 1, 2015, at Hyde Park in Flushing. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 5 at Rossell Funeral Home with Fr. Gene Geromel officiating. Cremation will follow service. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 4 from 2-8 p.m. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Humane Society of Genesee County. Bobbie was born in Flint, MI, on March 13, 1934, the daughter of Thomas and Josephine (Burpee) Massey. She married Robert J. Malott in Flint on September 25, 1954. Bobbie was a wonderful, loving mother to Daniel James, Diane Jean, Matthew (Anne) of Flushing, MI, and Ronald (Debbie) of New Lothrop, MI. She loved and took pride in all of her grandchildren, Paul (Ewelina), Joseph, Jeff, Melissa, and Caroline. She had one great-grandson, Robert. Bobbie loved dogs and spending time with her family, bowling, seeing her high school girlfriends for lunch, and spending time with her good friend Lois. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Robert; son, Dan; daughter, Diane; her parents, Thomas and Josephine; brothers, Charlie and Stewart; and sister, Josephine.
