WONCH, Nelba J.. – of Montrose, age 90, died Friday, May 31, 2019 at Maple Woods Manor in Clio, Michigan. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, June 6, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Montrose, Michigan. Burial will take place at 1:00 PM Friday at Cook Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County.
Nelba was born April 17, 1929 in Flint, Michigan to the late Dewey and Ersa (Young) Ragan. She grew up in Birch Run, Michigan and graduated from Birch Run High School with the class of 1948. Prior to her retirement in 1994 from Flint Osteopathic Hospital, she worked as a Physical Therapist Aide for 30 years. Nelba was a lifetime member of the VFW Post # 4087 in Davison, Michigan. She enjoyed gardening, traveling to Florida, her cats and dogs.
Surviving are: Children, Douglas (Teina) Wonch, Anthony (Kathy) Wonch, Stanley Wonch, Dewey Wonch, Kevin Wonch; Grandchildren, Leah (Jeff) Seymour, Tony Hill, Angela Wonch, Andrea Watson, David Leos, Stan Wonch; 6 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Son, Christopher Wonch; Daughters, Joanne Wonch, Karen Wonch; 5 Brothers and 2 Sisters.
