HANDA, Benny Arthur – Of Grand Blanc, age 85, died Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at his residence.
Memorial Service will be held 1pm Saturday, February 16, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Mister Ben Handa officiating.
Visitation 12pm Saturday at the funeral home until the service.
Those desiring may make contributions to the charities of one's choice.
Benny was born in Flint, MI on June 16, 1933, the son of Ben and Mary Handa. He was a former member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and a current member of Peace Lutheran Church.
On November 5, 2004 he married Lynda in Grand Blanc.
Mr. Handa owned Construction Fasteners and also did tax preparation for 60 years. He was an avid sportsman in may respects.
Surviving are wife, Lynda;
7 children, Jeff and wife Kay Wright of Burton, Richard and wife Stefanie Rieden of Chesterfield Township, Ryane Stark and Jim Brzyzenski of Chesterfield Township, Sherry Handa of California,
Debra Handa of Grand Blanc, Ben A. of Florida, Susan and husband Larry Huber of Grand Blanc;
13 grandchildren;
many great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert and sister, Mickey Handa.
