COULMAN, Gordon Paul, R.T. – of Davison, MI, age 89, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2020. A Private Service will be held with entombment in Sunset Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Autism Speaks, in Gordon’s memory.
Gordon was born in Flint, MI on March 11, 1931, son of the late Norman and Lizzie (Garrett) Coulman. He married Ilda Rush on April 15, 1967. Gordon was employed with General Motors as a radiologic technologist, retiring in 1985. He was a member of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT), Michigan Society of Radiologic Technologists (MSRT), The Order of United Commercial Travelers of America (UCT), The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Loyal Order of Moose and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Gordon was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying snowmobiling, skiing, traveling, going on cruises and spending winters in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Gordon is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Ilda Coulman; 2 step-children, Pamela (Michael) Shaw and Rodney Swartz; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Lizzie Coulman; daughter, Lisa A. Nielsen; 4 siblings, Bruce, George, Margaret and Alice.
