SCHARK, Edward Jr. – Of Grand Blanc, age 91, died Thursday, October 1, 2020 at Ascension Genesys Hospital.
Edward was born in Saginaw, Michigan on May 30, 1929, the son of the late Edward and Eva (Weber).
He graduated from Flint Tech in 1946.
He married Elizabeth Ann Greer on February 7, 1948 and she preceded him in death on January 24, 2017.
He enjoyed carpentry, woodworking, skeet shooting and riding his motorcycle. He loved duck hunting, boating, fishing and took pride in keeping his lawn mowed and watching old Westerns.
Mr. Schark was employed for 27 years as an automotive mechanic at Summerfield Chevrolet, starting in 1949.
He retired in 1991 from AC Spark Plug Division as a truck mechanic.
Surviving are daughter, Debra (John) Costello;
granddaughter, Erin Elizabeth Rehil and husband Jonathan R. Stanley;
step-grandchildren, Jesse and Julie Costello and Katie Laming (Lonnie Dean);
great-grandson, Tristan;
step-great-grandchildren, Jacob, Parker, Riley and Hunter.
