Ritter, Chester "Chet" J.- Age 73, of Swartz Creek, died July 8, 2018. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8PM Wednesday at the funeral home.. Contributions may be made to the Genesee County Humane Society. Chet was born on April 1, 1945 in Flint, the son of Norman and Frances (Mierta) Ritter. He married Kay A. Staughen on June 23, 1984 in Flint Township. They resided in Swartz Creek. Chet was co-owner of Ritter's Flowers and he worked logistics for Quest Diagnostics. He was a member of the Street Rod National Association. Chet lived and worked for many years in Oscoda. He loved speed boats. Surviving are: wife, Kay; siblings, Norman and wife Jill Ritter II, Janet and husband Dale Swenson, Judy and husband Richard Secord; nephew, Travis and wife Kelly Swenson; niece, Jennifer and husband Jeremiah Rivette; great-nephews, Brock, Blaine and Ryder; great-niece, Brinley; best friend, Art Hitchings.
