Carlos O. Trujillo, age 88 of Flint, passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2019. He was born on April 11, 1931 in San Antonio, Texas to parents Magdelano and Luz (Ortiz) Trujillo. Carlos married Lucila (Villagomez) Trujillo on November 14, 1953. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church for over 50 years and served on the Altar Society. Carlos had a strong devotion to the Blessed Mother. He retired from General Motors in 1990 after 37 years of service. He loved gardening, especially with his roses. Carlos is survived by children: Lucy (Jack) Deem, Delia (Larry) Atkins, Enrique (Sharon) Trujillo; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; sister, Inez Lopez; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by both parents; wife of 61 years, Lucila Trujillo; son, David J. Trujillo; 2 sisters; 3 brothers. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am on Monday, December 9, 2019 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 2316 Coldwater Rd., Flint. Father Thomas Firestone officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday at 9am with a Rosary Service at 10am. Interment at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Flint. |
