WILSON, Joy. – of Montrose, age 86, died Saturday, September 12, 2015 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 1PM Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Montrose. Pastor Dale Lewis officiating. Burial in Montrose Township Cemetery. Family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11AM until the time of service at 1PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.
Joy was a Valentine’s Day baby, born on February 14, 1929 to the late Ulysses L. and Emma G. (Snyder) Hibner. She married Albert Wilson on January 26, 1946 in Alpena. He preceded her in death June of 1982. Joy was an upholsterer with C.H.W Products for 7 years before retiring in 1989. She was a past member of the Montrose United Methodist Church. Joy enjoyed sewing, BINGO, gardening, flowers and was an animal lover. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and was very dedicated.
Surviving are: Sons: Albert A. Wilson of Montrose, Terry L. Wilson of Arkansas, Ivan D. Wilson of Montrose and Timothy D. (Marcia) Wilson of Montrose; 11 grandchildren: Matt, Melodie, Marcus, Troy, Jimmy, David, Carrie, Tim, Devita, Janet and Tarra; Several nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends. Joy was preceded in death by: Son, Jeffrey Wilson; Grandson, Jeffrey; Brother, Ivan Hibner, Sisters: Elva Ehelski and Leota Demarest.
